Obsessed with Golden Diner. The pancakes 1000% lived up to the hype. I love pancakes and expected them to be good, but how good can pancakes really be? OMG... THEY ARE AMAZING The salad was great, and so were the wings and the breakfast burrito. We shared everything and the portions are generous. It’s a small, cozy diner with a great vibe and really nice staff. Make sure you book in advance so you don’t miss out! we reserved a month ahead and it was absolutely worth it.

A lot of fun - we took the kids here and had a very nice meal - exactly what you'd want from the concept - somewhat high end comfort food with an Asian twist. The burger and breakfast sandwich were delicious and the wings were crispy. We liked the fries better than the home fries. Got 1 pancake for dessert and that was enough. The vegan Caesar was ok.

Golden Diner has a unique twist on pancakes that’s definitely worth trying at least once. The texture is interesting — slightly chewy and firm on the outside but soft and thick inside. There’s a hint of saltiness, though it’s not overpowering, and the flavor and texture remind me a bit of a lemon pound cake, with a subtle lemon aroma. It tastes rich and buttery, so I imagine it’s quite high in calories! The chicken katsu sandwich was decent — pretty much what you’d expect, nothing extraordinary. Overall, it’s not a place I’d wait a very long time for, but if you manage to get a reservation, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

On a Saturday morning after getting there early (about 9:10) we checked in with the hostess staff at Golden Diner a little after 10 and were told we had secured a table for 4 which would be ready in approximately 50 minutes. Our group was ELATED. After about 30 minutes we received a text indicating our table was ready. After hurrying back we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We ordered a double order of plain pancakes, a single blueberry pancake and an order of the fried chicken wings. Everything we ate was as delicious (if not more) than the hype had led us to believe. The chicken was seasoned and fried to crispy perfection with a slightly sweet and slightly spicy flavor. The pancakes were easily the fluffiest I’ve ever eaten and the flavor was pleasantly sweet. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and pleasant and our food arrived hot and fast. My only regret is that I didn’t order more from the menu. Oh well, until next time.

lined up 45 minutes before opening on a sunday morning to join the waitlist, and the wait was about an hour long for a party of 3. definitely worth trying at least once, since the food was quite good, and i’d recommend getting the largest allowed party size (6) if possible so you can try more dishes. my favorites were the chicken katsu club sandwich and the breakfast burrito - both were such a great blend of flavors

I actually had no plans to go to golden diner the day I dined in but was walking around Chinatown, just coming from a bakery and I saw the line forming right before they opened. I decided to stand in line and give this place a try. I dined solo so I only had to wait 30 minutes for a spot. Ordered the honey butter pancakes and a cup of tea. The pancake is very good. Fluffy served piping hot. The honey butter on there was a nice touch and not too sweet. Service was good and very attentive and friendly. Personally….I would not stand in line for this place again. While the food is solid, it is nothing original or one in a million. While I was leaving, I heard the wait for a table for 2-4 people was up to 4 hours. Insane (this was the weekday too). The restaurant is small so they are doing the best with what they got.

This was a very cute place work only about 6 tables (that's why reservations are so tough). Everyone was so nice and welcoming! The waitress was on point with her discriptions of the food! We enjoyed our food throughly! So much so my husband and nephew were ready to go back the next morning.

We saw a huge line around the block near our hotel and it just prompted us to take a look, after looking at Google reviews, we noticed it's a very popular brunch spot! The pancakes were really nice and fluffy! The Korean friend chicken was very crispy and saucy but honestly it wasn't needed, the pancakes is what's worth mentioning! I highly recommend coming to line up pretty early if you want to try it out! (Like 9:45 AM is good enough) Don't worry about the line, it goes quickly if you're EARLY but you'll be added to the wait-list if you come around 10:30 AM - this takes way longer and not recommended if you're starving
